Hollywood star Halle Berry, Supermodel Gigi Hadid admire Apo Whang-od’s beauty

At 106, Apo Whang-od’s charm is definitely still captivating as it not only caught the eyes of Filipinos but also even internationally-known figures.

The oldest "mambabatok" in the country became the recent talk on social media, not just because of her skills in hand-tapping tattoos but also her perennial beauty, after being on the cover of the Vogue Philippines April 2023 issue.

With the cover being released online, Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry who is known for her roles in Catwoman, Monster's Ball, X-Men, and its sequels, and more took her appreciation of the legendary artist to Instagram.

Berry posted the cover with a caption, “Now THIS is real beauty 🙏🏽.”

Some popular individuals like American actor and TV host Mario Lopez couldn’t help but to agree with Berry commenting, “She’s awesome. 106yrs old!”

American supermodel Naomi Campbell also reacted with heart emojis on Berry’s post.

Further, supermodel Gigi Hadid, one of the world’s highest-paid models reposted Whang-od’s Vogue cover on her Instagram story.

Being the face of the Vogue Philippines’ April issue, Apo Whang-od was dubbed by international news sites as the ‘oldest person on Vogue magazine cover’.
