Hotel in Tabuk City cautions public against job hiring scam

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A hotel in Tabuk City is warning the public against unscrupulous individuals posing as recruiters while asking for training and uniform fees.

Grand Zion Garden Resort Hotel (GZGRH) Inc. in Barangay Bulanao recently encountered around six people coming to the hotel, claiming to have been employed by the establishment.

These people also alleged that they have already paid the training and uniform fees. Five of them claimed they gave P1,700 each for the hotel uniform.

The hotel asserted it was not them who transacted with the said victims and that certain individuals have falsely and fraudulently claimed to be affiliated with them.

Grand Zion added they do not collect any fees from job applicants during the application process and even when they are already hired.

For this reason, the hotel is warning the public especially job seekers to be cautious when applying for a job.

An officer of the Grand Zion Hotel said employment offers that are not announced through the official Facebook page of Grand Zion Garden Resort Hotel Inc. should not be entertained as they are unauthorized.
