Baguio City, Philippines – A house fire in Baguio City caused around P2 million in damage, according to the local fire bureau.

It was around 5 a.m. on Friday, August 11, when the BFP – Baguio City received a report about a fire incident at Lexber Heights, Camp 7, Baguio City.

Upon verification, the firefighters, along with Sunshine Fire Volunteer, responded.

It took over an hour for firefighters to control the blaze that hit the attic of the house owned by Larry Moran Angeles.

Authorities declared fire out at 6:35 a.m. No one was hurt during the incident.

One of the tenants named Jennifer Dirsken Bentican heard sounds in the attic before the fire broke out, reported Mt. Province Broadcasting Corporation – MPBC.

Faulty electrical wiring may have caused the blaze, according to the initial report of BFP – Baguio City.

The same reason caused the fire that gutted the Thaneng Building along Upper Session Road on July 24 and left around P300,000 worth of damages.
