Husband hacks wife to death in Isabela

Isabela, Philippines – An alleged argument between spouses in Isabela had cost the life of a 51-year-old wife earlier this week.

The victim Lourdes Languido was found dead with a hack wound on the neck at Sitio Nabuyukan in Gangalan, San Mariano, i-FM Cauayan reported on Oct. 19, 2023.

San Mariano police investigators found out from the neighbors they heard the victim and her husband Rolimo, 52, having a serious fight prior to the discovery of the dead body of Lourdes.

The husband allegedly planned to leave, telling their son who came home on Monday morning that they have to go since his mother was already dead. The suspect was described to be intoxicated at the time.

A barangay kagawad arrived at the place of incident and arrested the suspect whom he later turned over to the police.

The accused is now facing a case of Parricide.
