Man, mistress arrested in Tuao after wife called the police

Cagayan, Philippines – A husband along with his supposed mistress ended up in jail after they were caught together by his wife on Monday evening in Tuao, police authorities said.

The two, hidden under the name of Carlo, 25, and Julie, 20, were brought to police custody on February 27, 2023.

Tuao Chief of Police, PMaj. Jhun-Jhun Balisi revealed that Carlo’s wife has been receiving information that her husband lives with his alleged mistress in Cauayan City, Isabela. She told the police she wasn’t able to confirm the news firsthand due to distance.

She further relayed she chose to neglect those uploaded photos and videos of her husband and the woman together on Facebook and Tiktok.

However, when she was told that Carlo was going to bring home Julie at his grandmother’s residence in Tuao, she waited for them.

Upon seeing her husband arriving on his motorcycle with Julie as his back ride, she immediately called the police.

Overt Night Riders Patrol immediately responded and arrested the suspects. The two were brought to Tuao Police Station for Concubinage and Violence Against Women and their Children charges.
