Updated: Jun 26, 2022

Tabuk City, Kalinga – “I will not shrink from my oversight duty as the watchdog for our constituents to safeguard them if I feel their general welfare and interest are utterly disregarded,” vowed Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang during his talk in the anniversary program of Tabuk City this June 24, 2022.

Mangaoang’s message was delivered by his representative Reginald Wacas.

Speaking to the public and city officials, he emphasized the need to exercise effective and honest leadership for the attainment of progress and development.

“Importantly, we need to have an enabling environment that will instill a culture of cooperation among all development stakeholders,” the congressman said.

He further assured his support to the people of Tabuk as he believes that the quality of the lives of the people will always be the benchmark of their success in governance.

Congressman’s support to Tabuk City

According to Mangaoang, the City of Tabuk has been a recipient of hundreds of millions of hard and soft projects which he initiated for funding.

Such projects include roads, multipurpose, evacuation center to irrigation support facilities, for education hard and soft components, environmental conservation and protection initiatives, health facilities improvement and medical assistance programs, support to farmers and fisher folks, technical and vocational course, trainings, and many other initiatives.

These, he said, were funded and are all geared at face lifting the capital city and uplifting the economic status of his constituents.

“More will be coming and we are doing this because we are preparing our beautiful city to become the regional center of the Cordillera when autonomy will be granted to us by this incoming administration,” underscored the congressman.
