Tabuk City, Kalinga – Governor James Edduba highlighted the importance of working relationships among elected officials as a key factor in providing better services to iKalingas amid limited resources.

The governor who pledged for a clean and honest May 2025 polls talked before the attendees of the Unity Walk and Peace Covenant Signing on March 26 at the Kalinga Astrodome in Bulanao where he mentioned the significance of ‘working together’.

"Haan tayo unay a baknang a probinsya, but if we work with national line agencies, I know that we can do something, adu ti mabalin nga maaramid," he said as he looks forward to working with whoever will be elected as congressman should he be given another chance to lead the iKalingas for the next three years.

Edduba also mentioned he would be needing the support of the Office of the Vice Governor and the board members.

As for his platforms, Edduba, whose programs were defined by his ‘Lumin-awa Kalinga’ thrust, intends to continue and expand what his administration started in 2022.

It is noted that his ‘Lumin-awa Kalinga’ paved way to more infrastructure projects such as roads, improved health facilities, economy development, more Kalinga recognitions, and more sourced out funding and projects that benefited the Kalinga constituents, among others.

“Kayat ko kuma ituloy ti narugyan tayo nu adda pay gasat and I will work, hopefully, with the Office of the Congressman as we will continue daytoy programa para ti pagsayaatan ti ili tayo a Kalinga,” he expressed.
