IFSU - Potia is 5th top performing school in Nov. 2023 Midwifery board exam

Ifugao, Philippines – New midwives in Ifugao have brought the province’s state university to the list of top-performing schools in the recently concluded Midwife Licensure Examination (MLE).

On Nov. 05 – 06, 35 Midwifery graduates of the Ifugao State University – Potia Campus took the midwife board exam. Three days later, the Professional Regulation Commission announced that 33 of said examinees were among the 2,800 who made it to the list of passers.

The figure gave IFSU a 94.29% passing rate, making it land in the 5th spot of the 10 top-performing schools.

Commission on Higher Education Cordillera congratulated the university for its success in the MLE saying, “This is a remarkable achievement that reflects the hard work and dedication of the students, faculty, and staff of the university. You have made your institution and your province proud!”

A total of 4,119 midwifery graduates took the November 2023 MLE at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Kidapawan.
