Ifugao boxer to defend WBO Oriental Featherweight title on Feb.4

Ifugao, Philippines – The World Boxing Organization (WBO) Oriental Featherweight Champion from Lagawe, Ifugao who also holds the World Boxing Council Asian featherweight title, will face contender Wen Song Liu on February 04 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The 26-year-old KJ Natuplag has a record of 11 wins with 10 knockouts, three losses, and two draws, following his second-round knockout win over Boonrueang Phayom of Thailand in Dubai on Nov. 12, 2022.


The 24-year-old contender from China, on the other hand, has 11 wins with 5 knockouts, and 1 loss.


Ahead of his scheduled bout, Natuplag demonstrates confidence for he has thoroughly prepared.


Through his social media account, he invited his countrymen to watch his fight set as the co-main event, at 9:10 p.m.


The boxer’s supporters in Dubai are likewise encouraging other Filipinos to reserve tickets and watch the fight of Natuplag.


WBA-Asia Welterweight holder Joepher Montaño will also defend his WBA-Asia Welterweight title against former WBA-Asia Champion Baishanbo Nasiyiwula on the same day.
