Ifugao recognizes the province's exemplary Lupong Tagapamayapa in 2023

Lagawe, Ifugao – The provincial government of Ifugao named its 2023 ‘Lupong Tagapamayapa’ provincial winner, based on the 2022 intensified assessment criteria of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) is given to barangays that demonstrate exemplary performance in settling disputes at their own level.

Likewise, the award recognizes their exceptional contributions to the promotion and implementation of the Barangay Justice System.

On its second-peat, Barangay Amduntog in the municipality of Asipulo maintained a 99.8% performance rating to retain first place after winning the search in 2022.

Meantime, Barangay Población East of Lamut, also maintained its second rank with a 97.6% performance rating, while Barangay Pinto in Alfonso Lista bagged third place with a very satisfactory performance rating of 90.6%.

The top three winners received P50,000, P30,000 and P20,000 respectively, during the flag raising rites at the Provincial Hall on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Winning the top prize, Barangay Amduntog will be representing the province in the regional search.
