Injured rider in Bado Dangwa motorcycle collision dies in hospital


Tabuk City, Kalinga – One among the four riders who were injured during the collision of two motorcycles in Bado Dangwa on Sunday died this morning of March 22, 2022, the Tabuk City Police Station reported.


The victim was identified as Martin Dalyagan, 29, rider of the red Honda motorcycle.

The police stated that Dalyagan was pronounced dead by his attending physician at 8:05 AM after his major surgery. Dalyagan suffered hypovolemic shock, fracture of the distal femur, and traumatic brain injury among others.


Police investigation earlier revealed that Dalyagan was riding his red Honda motorcycle on March 20, 2022. He was with a back rider, coming from the direction of Barangay Bantay and heading towards Barangay Bado Dangwa.

However, upon reaching a curve portion of the Mt. Province – Kalinga National Road in Barangay Bado Dangwa, the red motorcycle crashed against a black Honda motorcycle which was traversing the opposite direction.


Dalyagan, his back rider, and the two occupants of the black motorcycle were injured and rushed to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital.
