Cagayan, Philippines – A construction worker who died in a road accident was found by authorities on Monday, Sept. 11, along the Namuac-Minanga Road in Sanchez Mira.

It is believed that the rider met the tragic incident on Sunday night, but his body was only discovered on Monday morning.

Accordingly, the 18-year-old victim, Criswell Galapia Jr., left their home at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday but failed to return on that same day.

It was later known that he went on a drinking spree with relatives, and while allegedly heading home intoxicated, he figured into an accident that claimed his life.

Based on the police investigation, while driving along said highway, the victim lost control of the motorcycle's brake, causing the vehicle to crash into a coconut tree.

With the impact of the crash, the victim was thrown off the motorcycle and landed into a hole being excavated on the road.

The remains of the victim are now at their residence in Nagrangtayan, Sanchez Mira.
