Baguio police investigate behind man's puzzling death at athletic bowl

Baguio City, Philippines - An investigation is underway after a man was found dead at the Baguio Athletic Bowl on Friday, February 9.

A safety officer at the sports facility notified the police after discovering a man lying face down, particularly at the YCC Sports Complex.

Police reported that the witness even tried to get the man's attention, but he did not respond, prompting the officer to report the discovery.

The responding team from 911 conducted an initial assessment of the victim, revealing that the unidentified man had no pulse and was not breathing.

Discoloration was observed on the man’s face, neck, up to his nape, and his right hand.

Those with missing relatives are now urged to coordinate with authorities or go to the Baguio Memorial Chapel to expedite the identification of the deceased.
