Isabela bettor wins P5.9M lotto 6/42 jackpot

Isabela, Philippines – A lone bettor from Tumauini, Isabela beat staggering odds to win a total of P5,940,000 jackpot prize for lotto 6/42 during the evening draw on Thursday, February 02.

Reports say there are 5,245,786 unique six-number combinations that you can form from numbers 1 to 42 which means the probability of winning is 1: 5,245,786. To increase the chances of winning, bettors are advised to play more combinations and eliminate the unlikely combinations. Others, on the other hand, think of winning a lottery as pure luck.

Whether by strategy or by luck, a player got the winning digits 02 – 27 – 16 – 29 – 04 – 19, as announced by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

The bettor from the said province is the fourth millionaire this week, while 81 players guessed five out of the six-digit winning combination, thus getting a P24,000 prize each.
