Jean Saclag wins ONE Championship debut via TKO

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Kalinga’s very own Jean Claude Saclag did not disappoint and delivered an ‘explosive’ win in his first-ever ONE Championship match on September 6, in Bangkok, Thailand.

ONE is the world’s largest martial arts organization.

Bemedalled Saclag had his debut in ONE Friday Fights 78 where he faced Jun Young Lee of South Korea who is described to be a more experienced MMA artist.

In the flyweight Mix Martial Arts bout, Saclag did not hold back in the first round and asserted his dominance by throwing strikes that visibly rattled his opponent. The 29-year-old iKalinga needed only 1.34 minutes to finish the fight as the referee stepped in and stopped.

Saclag won his ONE Championship promotional debut via TKO(technical knockout).

After his performance, the 3-time SEA Games gold medalist went to Team Lakay Head Coach, Mark Sangiao, and was described to have told his coach that the victory was for him.
