Join Dagupan Centro's "lato-lato challenge" on Father’s Day

Tabuk City, Kalinga – It’s time to bring that endless clacking sound to Dagupan Centro Hall this Father’s Day and win the father-child ‘lato-lato’ challenge.

Lato-lato, a viral toy craze in the country is all over places – streets, neighborhood, and even on the internet. For starters, this toy is made out of two plastic balls connected by a string and someone has to swing the cord up and down in order for the two balls to hit each other.

With the public’s fascination to the game, Dagupan Centro Punong Barangay George Esteras thought about holding a ‘Lato-lato’ challenge this Dad’s Day, June 18 at the barangay hall.

A father-son or father-daughter will team up and will play the lato-lato and try to outlast other teams.

Winners will be receiving a cash prize from Esteras. The little amount will be disclosed on the day of the game.

Esteras who will be using his personal resources for the rewards said the barangay council of Dagupan Centro organized the activity to provide an avenue for families to have fun and bond this Father’s Day.

Registration for the event will be closed on June 17. If interested, proceed to the barangay hall to sign up for the activity.
