Kalinga assured of P43M funding for various social programs

Tabuk City, Kalinga - Governor James Edduba says he is committed to making sure that no one in Kalinga will be left behind, and such reason serves as his motivation to continue sourcing out funds from national leaders’ offices to aid yKalingas need.

 

Recently, the Governor’s efforts paid off after some national leaders granted funding to the province’s various social services programs.

 

The Kalinga Provincial Information Office relayed Thursday, July 11, that House Speaker Martin Romualdez granted a total of P35 million to the province. The allocations include P10 million AKAP fund, P10 million MAIP fund, P10 million TUPAD fund, and P5 million TESDA TSWP fund.

 

Additionally, Edduba secured a P2 million AICS fund from Senator Bato Dela Rosa, a P4 million AICS fund from Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, and a P2 million GIP fund from Senator Loren Legarda.

 

With this, Edduba expressed gratitude to the national government, national leaders and offices that keep paying attention to his requests.

 

Kalinga received a total of P357,961,789 worth of social and infrastructure funds through Edduba’s outsourcing efforts,  benefiting thousands of residents from various sectors.
