Tubban, in a recent interview, stated that while the number of positive cases increased he is hoping that with the concerted efforts of the LGUs and those at the frontlines the situation will get better. Needless to say, he said, “it is still with the vast majority’s behavior and discipline that will determine the success of the efforts of the LGUs.”

Nakadeploy met dagiti frontliners ti probinsiya ken adda dagiti ma-araramid nga systema for a faster and more effective response, ngem saan tayo malabanan ti Covid-19 nu saan tayo ag-bibinnadang,” said Tubban.

From the data of Kalinga Provincial Local Government Unit, cases range from 0 to 21 per day for the first week of January 2021. However, the number doubled and even tripled from January 14 – 16.
