Kalinga has 9 new military second lieutenants

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Nine young yKalingas are set to serve the country and the Filipinos as military officials after recently being donned the rank of second lieutenant.

 

The nine are among the graduates of the Officer Candidate Course "ARAMSIDLAK" Class 60 – 2024 who finished their training on June 15 at Camp O'Donnell in Capas, Tarlac. 

 

They are 2LT Liezel Paga Ansang of Tanudan; 2LT Edward Pengad Balawag, Tanudan; 2LT Jomar Dumilam Balawag, Tanudan; 2LT Jesli Pallayoc Dumaguing, Lubuagan; 2LT Jayson Tollino Alyong, Lubuagan; 2LT Wendel Na-oy Dayuwan, Tabuk City; 2LT Alma Sta Ines Gaddawon, Tabuk City; 2LT Jerry Paloc Buyagan Maymaya, Tabuk City; and 2LT Jovelyn Cino Bagwingan of Tabuk City.

 

After officially becoming full-fledged second lieutenants, the nine new military officials returned to their home province for a visit where they were recognized by the Provincial Local Government headed by Governor James Edduba during the flag-raising ceremony on July 1 at the Capitol.

 

Honoring their perseverance and commitment to serving the country and the people, the Office of the Provincial Governor held a testimonial lunch for the nine officers who were accompanied by their families on July 2.

 

“This event has been a cherished tradition of the Provincial Government, celebrating the success of Kalinga youth in various fields and serving as an inspiration to future generations,” the Kalinga Provincial Information Office wrote.

 

These nine new military officers committed to helping the next batch of yKalingas who want to join the military service.
