The competition, being one of the highlights of the most anticipated event annually, will highlight talented dancers coming from various regions in the country as they don their colorful costumes and perform intricate dance choreographies, showcasing their province’s festivals, rich traditions, and history.

There are 14 participating groups this year, mostly originating from Luzon.

The Tribu Rizal will be featuring the Bodong Festival of the province in said event and will have to beat the best street dancers in the country, including those from Baguio who will also bring to Metro Manila the Panagbenga Flower Festival of the summer capital.

To recall, the group were the first runner-up in the street dance competition during the Bodong Festival held in February this year.

In the same month, they participated in the renowned Panagbenga Festival’s street dance competition in Baguio and were able to seize the championship title.

This month, as the group confirmed their participation in the prestigious event, iKalingas are urged by the provincial local government unit to show support to them as they shall put on the spotlight the rich cultural heritage of Kalinga through their dance performance in the national capital region.
