Tabuk City, Kalinga – A policewoman from Kalinga finished her Public Safety Basic Recruit Course as one of the top trainees of the class this October 19, 2022, in Pampanga.

The Public Safety Basic Recruit Course is a 24-week intensive and progressive training on police science, administration, and combat operation and tactics. This is designed for newly appointed police non-commissioned officers.

Patrolwoman Revelyn Gay Dawing from the Intelligence Group is top 3 of the Class 2021-02 “MANDALASIG” with a general average of 88.57%. She took the course at the Regional Training Center 3 in Magalang, Pampanga.

Through the Facebook page of the Regional Training Center 3, Dawing expressed her appreciation to the ‘Mandalasig’ class, citing that each of them had uniquely grown into equally multi-talented and skilled individuals.

Dawing also looked back at her life being a teacher by profession, finishing a degree in Elementary Education before taking the path of the police service.

“It is so familiar- or why it feels less like, I am getting to know myself more, favored and blessed; now realization hits me as I mirror the person whom I am today. Truly blessed beyond measures, on how destiny intertwined on engineered time and opportunities to heed the call as a Police Officer,” she wrote.

The top 1 among the graduates is Patrolman Patrick Alvaran from Police Regional Office 3, while the top 2 is Patrolman Jay Mark Samson from Tarlac City.
