Tabuk City, Kalinga – In the ceremonial send-off for Governor Ferdinand Tubban last Tuesday, Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Domingo Bakilan thanked the outgoing governor and lauded his efforts for the impact projects he did during his term.

One of which, Bakilan highlighted, is the realization of the P6 million worth Agricultural Extension Research and Farm Mechanization building which will house all the division of the Office of the Provincial Agricultural Services (OPAS).

The two-storey building is expected to improve management and efficiency of services in said office.

“There is a difference between staying in one roof than staff spread in different roof and that was also my vision when I entered the OPAS that before I retire, there should be one roof that will office these 48 employees,” said Bakilan.

In addition, he is grateful to Tubban for appointing and promoting 24 OPAS personnel. He emphasized it is only under Tubban administration that the office recorded 24 appointees and promotes. Such undertaking, he described, is a legacy.

Bakilan further relayed that Tubban will be remembered by the people of Tanudan particularly in Dupligan for the ongoing P152 million worth improvement of Banneng – Darulog – Bawac Farm-to-Market Road.
