‘Kalinga stands as staunch ally in our journey towards self-governance’ – Gov. Edduba on Cordi Day

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Speaking before the leaders in the Cordillera region, Governor James Edduba affirmed Kalinga’s support for the ongoing quest for regional autonomy.

Edduba, leading the Kalinga delegation in the 37th Cordillera Month celebration on July 15 in Bangued, took the stage at the Abra Sports Complex and reiterated the stand of the Kalinga Province in the call for self-governance.

“Kalinga stands as a staunch ally in this journey towards self-governance. I believe autonomy is a pathway to preserving our cultural heritage, empowering our people, and achieving sustainable development,” he emphasized.

The governor likewise called for continuous collaborations among the leaders in the Cordillera – the governors, congressmen, and other local officials, enjoining them to move forward with ‘hope, determination, and solidarity’.

“Together as one Cordillera, we have the strength, the will, and the unity to achieve our dreams. Let us continue to support each other, share our resources and knowledge, and work hand in hand to attain our goal,” he expressed.
