Kalinga to hold FIRST Prov’l dog handler's fashion show, fun match this February at Capitol Park

Tabuk City, Kalinga - Dog lovers/owners in Kalinga await a new exciting event as the provincial government, through its Provincial Veterinary Office (Provets - Kalinga), is set to conduct its first Dog Handler's Fashion Show and Fun Match this coming February.

 

Said activities are part of the province’s 30th founding anniversary and 6th Bodong festival slated to begin from February 3 to 20, 2025. 

 

The Provets - Kalinga announced on Monday, January 27, that the Dog Handler's Fashion Show and Fun Match event at the Capitol Park on February 10 will start with a dog walk at 6:00 a.m. Participants on the specific activity are encouraged to register through https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSci8rRjJXzB0etUAON8WTRnQ_JAviHej1mF5t2NQXoGE3vg4A/viewform .

 

After the walk, the event will proceed to the dog handler's fashion show which is set to be an amazing chance for every iKalinga pet owner to dress up and get creative as they do a fashion show with their dogs. From unique themes to fashionable attire, the occasion invites a diverse array of costume concepts, allowing dog owners or handlers to display some character in an entertaining and stylish manner.

 

The fun match, on the other hand, is another category dedicated to American Bulldogs (Standard & Exotic), offering this breed a special opportunity to participate in the festivities and take part in the event. 

 

All dog owners in the province are encouraged to join. Apart from the excitement, participants and attendees alike will be treated to freebies and prizes to be given by the event partners.
