KSU bags multiple awards in WURI Global Conference 2024

Tabuk City, Kalinga - The Kalinga State University shines worldwide as the university bagged multiple awards in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) Global Conference 2024 held last September 24-26 at aSSIST University in Seoul, South Korea.

 

WURI evaluates real contributions of higher educational institutions toward industries and society. Using 13 categories, it encompasses innovation targets and methods, offering a holistic measure of institutions' creative contributions toward societal advancement.

 

Dr. Karen Razelle M. Duyan represented KSU in said event, engaging in different conference sessions.

 

One of the highlights of the event was the conferring of innovative efforts. KSU received the distinction of being an innovator at its pace. The university ranked 8th in Entrepreneur Spirit (A4), 9th in Crisis Management (A5), 5th in Symbol and Promotion, and ranked 160 for the Global Top 300 Innovative Universities.

 

The ranking is intended to recognize higher educational institutions that excel in innovative approaches, inspiring developments all along the academic and the societal landscape.

 

Another objective of the conference was the establishment of the World University Network of Innovation (WUNI), a global networking system to enhance university leaders' collaboration and knowledge exchange.

 

Furthermore, Dr. Duyan also presented the university’s "Yookah Native Pig Breed Production and Management Protocols," case, which is the work of Ms. Sharmaine Codiam.

 

The presentation of the case study was recognized during the event.
