Tabuk City, Kalinga – Kalinga Governor Ferdinand Tubban, in his message to the inducted Baby Rotarian and leaders of the Rotary Club of Tabuk, provided a piece of encouragement as well as a word of challenge emphasizing leading by example style of leadership.

The Rotary Club of Tabuk had its 28th induction ceremony earlier today where a Baby Rotarian has been welcomed in the organization.

Rotary Club of Tabuk consists of distinguished leaders in the City whose main goal is to share their skills and expertise in providing community service to the welfare of the people of Tabuk which also embodies the motto of the said organization.

During the induction ceremony, Governor Tubban gave a message of inspiration reminding the responsibilities of a leader.

In his speech, he mentioned that “…a leader can only demand from his followers what he demands from himself first...”

Simply, it is leading by example. An example that has sprouted from a seed of desire to do better and become agent of change to prepare the future of the generation that will come after them.

He further expressed that good governance and shared responsibility as well as accountability are the main ingredients to a government that reflects the voice of the people. It is only through responsible leadership can we preserve the future generation of Tabuk who will also serve as leaders one day.

The governor ended his speech by reminding its members that vision with correct action will bring them together in their work as members of the Rotary Club, of the communities, and of our country.
