Liga ng mga Barangay in Flora charts productive plans for the month ahead

Flora, Apayao - The Liga ng mga Barangay in Flora LGU remains steadfast in its commitment to further its reach to every Floranian, delving into consistent and productive planning towards developing more systematized operations within the barangays.

In its regular session held on March 4, substantial concerns and activities were covered, including the timely submission of barangay documents for DILG compliance, barangay personnel concerns, road clearing, financial management, trainings for the newly elected barangay officials, Sangguniang Kabataan initiatives, and planning for the upcoming General Barangay Assembly for the first quarter of 2024.

This meeting has evidently established a fresh start to the month for the LNB members, bearing in mind their respective vital functions to carry out.

Facilitated by MLGOO Roderick Begtang and LNB President Marcial Valiente, said meeting aimed to reinforce its key personnel's grasp of relevant, adequate, and timely information pertaining to barangay services and ventures, empowering them in their day-to-day activities through capacity-building trainings.

Echoing the essence of planning, Begtang emphasized that each function is critical to ensuring a profitable and efficient implementation of the plans provided, with a primary focus on the delivery of their services and initiatives throughout the month.

Mayor Rodolfo Juan complimented the joint effort demonstrated by LGU officials and personnel during their flag-raising ceremony for achieving prior successes.

He stated that being cooperative with every plan given out was the key to achieving new triumphs, thus he encouraged staff from all offices to consistently provide greater assistance.
