Lubo, Tanudan youth holds rally as NPA 53rd anniversary approaches

Tanudan, Kalinga - As the New People’s Army anniversary approaches, the youth in Lubo Tanudan gathered and stood their ground to remind the young in the said municipality that they do not support the communist terrorist group in the locality.

They send this message to the terrorists during the staging of a youth rally on December 22.

On December 26, the communist dissident group will be celebrating their 53rd anniversary and it is believed that the day is a crucial day.

In an interview with Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terrorismo (KKDAT) Federation President, he said that the youngsters in Lubo held the activity as a way to denounce the NPA and to show support to the campaign and programs of the Philippine National Police against communist terrorist groups and left leaning organizations.

With the approaching anniversary of the NPA, he cautions the youth about possible recruitments, “gapu ta dandani manen iti anniversary ti NPA sigurado nga adu manen iti movements nga aramiden da tapnu maka pang-awis da iti kadwa da.”

He then reminded fellow youngsters in Tanudan to always listen to their parents and to be vigilant about the people they meet and about any possible indoctrination as the rebels’ device new recruitment strategy amidst government’s campaign against them.

“Isu a kanayun kuma a dinggen iti bagbaga iti parents. Karu kadagituy kadwa a youth dapat mapagmasid tayo kuma amin ta habang agim-improve iti gobyerno tayo a manglinlinis iti dagitoy nga NPA ket lalo manen a lumallaing iti strategy ti leftist a mang awis ti kadwa da,” he stressed.
