Lubuagan, Kalinga – The Local Government Unit of Lubuagan encourages all private organizations in the municipality to apply for accreditation until August 19, 2022.

Municipal Vice Mayor Alonzo Saclag Jr. conveyed that applying for accreditation at the LGU is not only for the sake of compliance but also for them to be able to enjoy grants from the government and other private sectors should there be any available.

“The certificate of accreditation not only entitles the entities to acquire Donee Institution Status from BIR for tax exemption but also to improve their status to qualify them for funding by several grant making institutions in the private sector and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines,” he said.

Saclag likewise emphasized that all the people’s organizations, non-government groups, civil society organizations, and business and professional groups in Lubuagan deserve all the support they need. Hence, they should file for accreditation by the government.

“Good work comes with a good reputation. You all deserve support for your efforts to bring blessings to the needy,” he said.

Among the needed documents the private organizations need to submit for their application are as follows:

1. Duly accomplished application form for accreditation;

2. Board of resolution signifying intention for accreditation for the purpose of representation to the special bodies;

6. Profile indicating the purpose and objectives of the organization;
