Magtoma Nat’l High School in Tanudan gets ready for Bodong Festival's Street Dancing

Tanudan, Kalinga – Magtoma National High School in Pangol, Tanudan is gearing up to perform for the municipality in the upcoming Bodong Festival's Street Dancing on February 13, 2023.

The Street Dancing competition is among the highlights of the 4th Bodong Festival and the 28th Kalinga Founding Anniversary.

Eskailyn Paga Ansang-Baggas of Tanudan Local Government Unit relayed that Magtoma National High School was chosen to represent the locality as they were the ones who prepared for the said competition in 2020.

The school was not able to showcase what they practiced at the time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Kasla intuloy da jay preparations da idi 2020, ngem haan da naka-perform gapu idiay declaration nga no holding of events because of the pandemic,” she explained.

Showing their support, the Tanudan LGU under the leadership of Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag shouldered the participants’ props and costumes. They also allotted funding for the meals of these students during their preparation for the competition.

In 2019, Tanudan National High School represented the municipality. Said school placed 7th among the participants.
