Man hangs self on a tree in Tuba, Benguet

Tuba, Benguet – A 29-year-old man discovered the decomposing body of another man hanging from a tree on Monday, June 3, at Km 8, Asin Road, Tadiangan, Tuba.

The man, who appears to be a suicide victim, had his neck tied with a nylon rope when found.

Police said the dead body is already in its decomposing state when discovered by the witness. He was wearing a black denim jacket and denim pants.

He was identified as a furniture maker and a resident of said area.

An autopsy was already made on the cadaver to determine the reason for his death, but the result is still being awaited.

Further investigation by Tuba police on the case is still ongoing.
