SUV in Baguio hits 3 vehicles before it overturned

Baguio City, Philippines – A driver who was allegedly driving recklessly was injured Sunday, Oct. 08, when his car overturned along Lodge St. Middle Quirino Hill, Baguio City, after leaving the scene of four earlier crashes.

Notified of the incident, the responder headed to the area and brought the 30-year-old man to a medical facility for treatment.

He is likewise facing charges of reckless imprudence, resulting in multiple damages to properties.

The vehicle involved, meantime, was described by authorities as a white Toyota Fortuner.

Prior to the rollover crash, police disclosed that the SUV struck a parked motorcycle first along the road.

The SUV then continued moving up the road, striking an Innova taxi, which was then discharging a passenger. The crash damaged the taxi’s side mirror.

The crash did not stop there, as the suspect continued driving and entered Lodge St., where he hit an Innova taxi unit parked in the area.

The SUV only stopped after going straight into a rock, causing it to overturn and damage the steel railing of a residence on said street.
