Man in Bangued, Abra gunned down with a shotgun

Bangued, Abra – A man died after he was shot in the chest with a shot gun in Bangued, Abra early morning of Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

The victim was identified by Bangued Police as Jake Villanueva Borce, a vendor and a resident of Bangbangar, Bangued.

In a report by the police, it said the suspect killer, known by the name John Paul Bulos, was to get a bag from the victim when the shooting incident happened.

At the crime scene, police recovered a plastic wad of gauge 12 shot gun.

After killing Borce, the suspect immediately fled from the crime scene.

Nevertheless, a hot pursuit operation was conducted and he was arrested by operatives.

He is now under police custody.

The suspect’s motive on killing Borce is still being investigated.

Another shooting incident in Abra

Last week, another shooting incident transpired in Abra particularly in Langangilang town.

The persons involved are siblings. Police report said the younger brother shot the older over a past dispute.

The incident happened 10:30 PM of August 8 at Sitio Nagsayangan, Barangay Tagodtod, Lagangilang.

The victim was named by authorities as Arnold Badeng Respicio, 36 while the suspect was identified as Glenford Badeng Respicio, 30.

Luckily, the victim survived the shooting incident.
