Tabuk City, Kalinga – A construction crew went fishing on Friday afternoon at the Chico River in Bulanao after Typhoon Kristine, but instead of fish, he discovered a sack of suspected contraband.

The concerned citizen immediately called the attention of the Special Weapons and Tactics personnel of Tabuk who were currently monitoring the Chico River, particularly in FF Cruz, Purok 6 around 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25.

Based on police accounts, the suspected illegal drugs were placed in a white sack and were abandoned at the rocky portion of the riverbank.
