Man found hanging in a waiting shed in Tuba, Benguet

Tuba, Benguet – A body of a still-unidentified man was found hanging from a waiting shed in Badiwan, Tuba, early morning on Friday, January 19.

It was first discovered by a resident in the vicinity who was about to leave for work around 6 a.m. on the said date.

Upon finding the deceased, the resident alerted others in the area, and one person promptly notified the police of the grim discovery.

In the crime scene, the police discovered a man hanging in the waiting shed, dressed in a black shirt and 'maong' pants.

Various objects, including a cutter, scissors, bag, rope, and some biscuits, were also recovered.

While preliminary suggestions point to suicide as the cause of death, the results of the autopsy are still pending to confirm the actual cause of the man's demise.

The remains of the victim are presently at the Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes in Baguio City for post-mortem care while awaiting the results of the investigation.

Meanwhile, a barangay official in the area stated that the victim was not a resident of their barangay.

Relatives of missing persons are encouraged to coordinate with Tuba police for the identification of the victim.
