Man stealing underwear every time he gets drunk arrested in Isabela

Cauayan City, Isabela - A man who was caught stealing underwear while drunk has been arrested by authorities this Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

The accused, whose name is kept, is a resident of Barangay District 1 in Cauayan City, Isabela.

Accordingly, the man is often caught taking the underwear of his female neighbors whenever he is intoxicated, which he then hides in his place.

In a video footage, it was shown that several sacks of stolen garments were found in his place, while other items were even seen being used in his kitchen, as also conveyed by some of the witnesses.

The barangay captain of said barangay, in the meantime, relayed that the suspect is a good person, stating that he had no criminal records in the barangay.

He added that the suspect only commits such acts when he is under the influence of alcoholic drinks.

Meanwhile, the suspect's family appealed to the victims not to file charges against him and just let them bring the man back to their hometown instead.
