Man in Baguio just went to buy alcohol but found dead later



Baguio City, Philippines – After sustaining one stab wound on his chest, penetrating his body’s right infraclavicular area, a laborer died while being ferried to a hospital in Baguio City over the weekend.


He was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician 11 PM of Sept. 9.

Based on an investigation by police, the victim identified as Rudel Sunga, a native of Angeles City, Pampanga, went out from their barracks along with a co-worker to buy alcoholic drinks.


Since they were not able to find an open store, the victim thought of getting back to their barracks while the other companion went on to search for a store.


The victim’s companion, Ariston Suing, had not gone far yet when he heard his friend asking for help.


He quickly ran to where his companion was and saw him bathing with his own blood.


They ferried the victim to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Investigators of the crime, meantime, went to the barracks and interviewed all the workers residing there.


There and then, it was known who the suspect was. He was hidden by the name ‘Jessie’, 54, a resident of Happy Hallow, Baguio City where the stabbing incident transpired.


‘Jessie’ now faces a homicide case, after he was charged with said crime at the Justice Hall, Baguio City on Monday, Sept. 11.
