Man with mental disability raped and killed 12 yr.-old girl in Isabela

Santiago City, Isabela - A 12-year-old girl was found dead in a vacant lot in Barangay Buenavista, Santiago City, Isabela on Saturday, August 10.

The victim, a grade three pupil, was raped before she was killed by a man with a mental disability. The identity of the man is withheld by the police.

Police reported that the girl was headed to a store that day to buy laundry detergent.

After a few hours, she was not able to return home, prompting her aunt to look for her.

At around 1:00 p.m. on the same day, the woman discovered the lifeless body of her niece. The body was covered with blood and was half naked at that time.

Meanwhile, the latest report from the Santiago PNP disclosed that ‘grudge’ might be the motive of the suspect to rape and kill the victim.

Based on their investigation, the victim allegedly bullied the man because he was mentally disabled. Police concluded this might have led the suspect to commit the heinous crime.

The suspect will be charged with rape with a homicide case.
