Tanudan, Kalinga – “Awan kuma mangiparparit iti panaka istimar iti kalsada tayo tapnu awan iti tumaktak ti progreso,” reminds Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag to the people of Tanudan as he asks for their support to be one of those who push for developments in their municipality.

Tanudan is one of the fast developing municipalities in lower Kalinga.

As the construction of the Tabuk – Banaue via Tanudan Road progresses, the Mayor visited Gaang on March 13, 2024, where he did his personal monitoring.

Dagadag also met the community members in Gaang to discuss the ongoing development of said national road through yearly funding from the Department of Works and Highways until its completion.

The mayor likewise mentioned about a new road project which will soon be implemented in the municipality. The budget was sourced out by Dagadag from the national government as the Internal Revenue Allotment of Tanudan would not be enough to cater all infrastructure developments in town.

With these projects, Dagadag asked the support of the constituents as an all-weather road will make travel and transport of products to the market easier for them.

“Isardeng tayo kuma dagiay agpa bayad ti contractor iti danyos kasi da tayo or da kayo met lng ti makinabang. Lumag-an ti amin nga aspeto ti biyag nu makadanun ti all-weather road iti barbarangay ken ili tayo,” he expressed.

The latest development on the Tabuk – Banaue via Tanudan National Road is the ongoing construction of the Mangkortan Bridge which connects the Lubo barangays to Banagao, Poblacion.
