Mayor Dagadag says hard work of Tanudan LGU staff as reason for 2024 Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping award

Tanudan, Kalinga – Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag assures that the Tanudan Municipal Hall employees are working hard in promoting transparency and accountability in the use of public funds in the municipality.

Evident to their work is the 2024 Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping (SGFH) award conferred to the municipality by the Department of the Interior and Local Government and was announced by DILG-Kalinga earlier this month.

Said citation is given by the DILG to LGUs who complied with accounting and auditing standards, rules, and regulations of the government. Assessment for the recognition includes most recent COA Audit Opinion and the full disclosure policy requirements.

“Dayta diay panagtitinnulong iti empleyado tayo nga nangar-aramid iti ustu nga trabaho da tapos dagitoy bumarangay met lang, dagiti barangay officials, dagiti empleyado iti munisipyo, isu nga naala tayo manen dayta nga award,” Mayor Dagadag expressed.

The local chief executive then lauded the efforts and diligence of the Tanudan employees in doing their work, adding, “diay maysa pagmayatan iti whole LGU tayo ket diay kinagaget iti empleyado tayo.”
