Mayor Dagadag tells youth to be inspired by success of fellow yTanudans

Tanudan, Kalinga – With more yTanudans defying odds and reaching their dreams, Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag tells the youth in the municipality to be inspired and take those successes as an example that nothing is impossible when one studies and works hard to achieve a dream.

On June 28, Mayor Dagadag had a courtesy visit from three Tanudan young people who became the latest additions to the roster of Tanudan professionals and successful individuals.

These three are 2LT Liezel Ansang, 2LT Jomar Balawag, and 2LT Edward Balawag. They are newly commissioned officers of the Philippine Army after completing their Officer Candidate Course training last June 15, 2024, at Camp O'Donnell in Capas, Tarlac.

The mayor emphasized that the success of these three is one of the testaments of a progressive Tanudan and that their stories demonstrate how resilience and determination turn dreams into reality.

“Maragsakan nak kas ama iti Tanudan nga mangkita kadagitoy agtul-tuloy nga success dagitoy annak tayo. Daytoy iti pakakitaan nga nu ipapati tayo nga aguskwela ken mangsurot iti gandat tayo iti biyag, haan imposible nga maabot tayo dagiti arapaap tayo,” the proud mayor expressed.

Dagadag then encourages the younger generation of yTanudans to be inspired by the stories of perseverance and hard work being shown by the people ahead of them, “alaen tayo kuma daytoy nga pagsarmingan ken kas inspirasyon nga ipapati tayo, haan lang nga para iti sarili yu nu di ket para iti nagannak yu ken para iti ili tayo nga Tanudan ta sikayo iti sumukat kadakami.”
