Tanudan, Kalinga – The three barangays of Lubo, Tanudan can now be reached by vehicles after Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag ordered the widening and clearing of the road going to the barangays in the last week of February 2022.

John Ryan Awingan, Assistant to Mayor Dagadag, explained that the latter initiated to develop the road going to Lubo which his father, the late Mayor Rhustom Dagadag, opened during his administration in 2007 to 2010.

Awingan said that there is a P100 million funding which shall be awarded this 2022 for the continuation of concreting of the national road from Sitio Mabunbun, Babbanoy. He said the project was funded by the Department of Public Works and Highways through the help of Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang.

However, the amount will only cover around 2 kilometers from Sitio Mabunbun. In order for vehicles to reach Lubo, the remaining more or less one kilometer which is not covered by the P100 million fund was widened and cleared by Mayor Dagadag using his personal resources.
