Mayor Gumilab expresses gratitude to PCSO for Patient Transport Vehicle

Tinglayan, Kalinga – Expressing gratitude to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for granting their request for a Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV), Mayor Sacrament Gumilab said the new transport would increase the medical transport capabilities of Tinglayan local government unit.

The PTV was turned over by PCSO personnel to Tinglayan LGU in Manila yesterday, March 29, 2022.

According to Municipal Information Office, Gumilab forwarded his request to the agency, having recognized the municipality’s need for such conveyance for the community, especially in saving lives during these trying times.

The new transport adds to the brand-new ambulance and three units of rescue vehicles which were acquired and blessed earlier this month.

Gumilab procured vehicles to ease the transport of people in need of medical attention, especially during emergencies, considering that the municipality’s barangays are among the areas in Kalinga that are far from the health facilities in the province.

The PTV is an added support to the municipality’s mobility.
