Miss Kalinga 2018 signs contract with Viva Artists Agency

Luna, Apayao – A proud Cordilleran who traces her roots in Kalinga and Benguet is officially joining show business after inking a contract with Viva Artists Agency recently.

“Thank you Viva Artists Agency!” said Miss Kalinga 2018 Rhyza Gayle Litaoen in a Facebook post on Tuesday, February 7, along with the talent agency’s announcement that she is the newest addition to their growing roster of artists.

Viva Artists Agency is the home of notable stars like Sarah Geronimo, Vice Ganda, Nadine Lustre, and other prominent actors in the show business industry.

Prior to becoming a VIVA artist, Litaoen who has over 15,000 followers on Instagram, is already known as a fashion model and a beauty queen in the local scene.

Since 2012, she has also had numerous local endorsements, photographic shoots, and runway appearances.

In 2017, she also became the face of Edaya, a premier Japan-based accessory line showcasing Cordilleran Cultural Heritage in Arts, as well as the ambassador for Diplomazee, a premier job website-portal for recent graduates and millennials.

Her most recent endorsement is for a company that sells mattresses, pillows, beds, and other unique pressure-relieving products.

“Napaka-humble niyang bata so it’s not surprising that she made it to the top and now artista na,” Provincial Tourism Officer Lorraine Ngao-i said in an interview, as she recalled the days when Litaoen was still the Miss Kalinga reigning queen.

“...she is one of the most beautiful faces na naging Miss Kalinga. I first met her when we invited the crowned Miss Kalinga to model during the Laga Fashion Show 2018, wala siyang bitbit na taga hawak ng bag, alalay, entourage or make-up artist. She arrived on time and alone at our office, siya mismo nag make up sa sarili nya,” Ngao-i narrated.
