Miss Kalinga Ambassador third runner-up is Tinglayan’s bet for Miss Kalinga 2023

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Kaye Paga, one of the runners-up in the recent Miss Kalinga Ambassador pageant will be representing the Tinglayan municipality for Miss Kalinga 2023 pageant.


The 21-year-old Civil Engineering student standing 5’3 and with vital statistics of 32.2, 25, and 35 is one of the 16 candidates who passed the deliberation and rigorous screening process which followed the standards of Anthropometric measurement.

When ask about her advocacy, the beauty who traces her roots in Sumadel and Mallango is pursuing the promotion of Kalinga culture and traditions to the young generations.


As the pageant’s page emphasized, ‘the Miss Kalinga 2023 is more than the common glitz and glamour, it is a channel of voices and a platform of significant advocacies that could uplift different sectors of the society, indeed, a force to reckon with.’


For Paga, she believed that Miss Kalinga is a platform she could utilize in promoting her advocacy to the young ones which could also help her municipality shine even more with the tagline, ‘Tongrayan Umunno-unnoy’.

Message to Tinglayanos


As she commits herself to the said pursuit, the aspiring beauty queen solicits the support of her fellow Tinglayanos.


“I hope for your support as I begin my pageant journey for I believe that this will be a platform for me to promote my advocacy entitled ‘Practicing and Promoting our culture and traditions to the young generations’ for I know with this platform it will help our municipality to grow and shine even brighter than before,” she said.

The Miss Kalinga Pageant


The Miss Kalinga pageant which had been on a three-year hiatus is finally having a comeback as one of the highlights of the celebration of the 28th Kalinga Founding Anniversary and 4th Bodong Festival.


A pre-pageant competition will be held on February 7 prior to the big night - the ‘Best in Traditional Attire’ at the Capitol Canopy and the swimsuit competition at the Golden Field Hotel in San Juan, Tabuk City.


The coronation night is set for 6 PM on February 14 at the Kalinga Sports Center.
