Motorcycle-truck collision in Mallig, Isabela kills 21-year-old farmer

Mallig, Isabela - A 21-year-old farmer died in a motorcycle-truck collision that happened on Tuesday, December 5 in Mallig, Isabela.


Mallig Police identified the casualty as Dominador Bicarme Jr., a resident of Roxas Isabela.


Based on police report, Becarme, along with his back rider identified as Ronald Tungpalan, was then traversing the national road in Barangay Victoria on said day when the fatal accident happened.

Police investigation revealed that Bicarme allegedly overtook a vehicle causing him to hit the oncoming HINO trailer truck driven by Mario Natividad, 49 years old.


Natividad relayed to the police that Becarmi was also speeding when the incident transpired.


Due to the incident, the two victims sustained severe injuries to various parts of their body.


They were rushed to a hospital by the responding authorities, but Bicarme was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Tungpalan, meantime, is now in a stable condition.


On the other hand, Natividad, the truck driver, was taken to the Mallig Police Station for further investigation.
