Ms. Supranational Philippines 2024 plans homecoming motorcade in Baguio City

Updated: Jun 22

Baguio City, Philippines – The newly- crowned Miss Supranational Philippines, Tarah Valencia, will have her grand homecoming motorcade on Monday, June 24 in Baguio City.

Through her Facebook page, the beauty queen announced that her homecoming motorcade will take place at 11:30 a.m. of said date.

“Baguio, I am now home and as I’ve brought you with me to my journey to the universe, I cannot wait to see you all again as I express my heartfelt gratitude for your support,” she said.

Apart from the parade, she will be cited a special award of recognition from the city government for bringing pride to the summer capital. A media press conference will follow, while her alma mater, the University of Baguio shall be hosting another homecoming event later in the afternoon.

Valencia earned her Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management degree in said school, achieving a cum laude distinction.

She was named as Miss Universe Philippines 2024 third runner-up in May 22. She was later chosen by the Miss Philippines pageant to represent the country in the Miss Supranational.

Tarah succeeded Pauline Amelinckx for the title and she is one among few beauty queens from Baguio who landed in the top five of the prestigious MUPH pageant, even earning a right to represent the country in an international pageant.

The other Baguio beauty queen who made it to the top 5 in 2023 is Krishna Gravidez. She was crowned Miss Charm 2023 but gave up the title as she is set to participate this year at the Miss World Philippines pageant.
