Mt. Province is best implementer of Sustainable Enterprise Subprojects in CAR in 2022

Mt. Province, Philippines – The provincial government of Mountain Province received a plaque of recognition for getting the highest percentage rate in the implementation of Sustainable - Enterprise Subprojects in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The recognition was given to the LGU during the Department of Agriculture - Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) - North Luzon Cluster general assembly with local government units, held at Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, Olongapo City, Zambales on February 15.

The agency said the province obtained a 110.15% cumulative disbursement rate for all I-BUILD subprojects under the Original Loan (OL) for the year 2022 and for having successfully passed the Value Chain Analysis (VCA) for highland vegetables, thus getting the award.

Led by PSO North Luzon Cluster Director Crispulo G. Bautista Jr, said award was accorded to the LGU on behalf of Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr.

For Kalinga, the provincial government was also recognized for being the best implementing local government unit in safeguarding compliance for the ongoing I-BUILD subproject Improvement of Banneng-Darulog-Bawac Farm-to-Market Road in the North Luzon Cluster.

The LGU also gained award for being the best PLGU in the adoption and practice of applied geo-tagging tools in CAR.

Meantime, the municipal government of Aguinaldo, Ifugao also gained recognition for being the fastest LGU in safeguarding compliance for the current I-BUILD subproject Improvement of Ubao-Manaot FMR under the second Additional Financing.
