Mt. Province opens registration for 16th Lang-ay Fest’s Agro-Industrial Trade Fair

Mt. Province, Philippines – Exhibitors across Mt. Province may now apply for the 16th Lang-ay Festival’s Agro-Industrial Trade Fair set from March 27 to April 5, 2023.


The exhibition will help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), especially those with competitive advantages to expand their markets.


Interested participants shall proceed to the office of the local Department of Trade and Industry located on the 2nd floor of the Walter Clapp Centrum, Poblacion, Bontoc to accomplish their application form, the provincial government said.

Applicants must bring their DTI/SEC/CDA registration, Mayor's Permit, BIR 2303 or Form 0605, Blank Official Receipt/Invoice, and at least 3 product photos with details.


Registration Fee


As for the registration fees, the amount ranges from P3,000 to P4,500, depending on the exhibitors’ products.


For agricultural facilities, equipment, and commercial products, the registration fee will range from P3,000 – P4,000; P1,000 – P1,500 for garments, kits, toys, housewares, fashion accessories, agricultural products, and fresh and processed foods; and P1,700 – P 2,000 for food services and the food court.


Registration ends on March 23 or until the slots are occupied.


On March 25 and 26, participating MSMEs will install their tents, all measuring 3x3 meters.


Other events on 56th Mountain Province Day and 16th Lang-ay Festival celebration

Other lined-up events for the said celebration include Civic Parade and kick-off program on March 1; and massage, wellness, and health care services by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority alongside the Friendship Game at the Provincial Plaza from March 1 to 8.


Women’s Day will formally open on March 8, simultaneous with the Walk for A Cause which will benefit around 43 dialysis patients being served at the Dialysis Center.


The native term “Lang-ay” means to share happiness, and wisdom, promote family solidarity, hospitality, and peace, and nurture friendship by partaking in the native rice wine. It is the foremost festival of the people of Mt. Province, drawing thousands of tourists and expats who trace their roots in said place.
