New police patrol car in Tanudan, Kalinga expected to improve PNP response and services

Tanudan, Kalinga – After recently receiving the promised new police patrol car, the Tanudan police expressed gratitude saying this is a huge help in providing better services to the residents in the municipality.

Tanudan is among the recipients of a new patrol car from the Philippine National Police which Chief PNP General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. pledged during his visit to Kalinga last September 15, 2022.

It was also during the said visit that Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag handed a resolution to Azurin, mentioning Tanudan’s need for a new mobile patrol car in order to help the police in the municipality monitor peace and order given that Tanudan LGU has meager resources and could not provide said needed mobile.

The mayor wrote in his letter that the police authorities in Tanudan struggle with prompt and simultaneous services since they only have one functional patrol car.

As promised, the new patrol car was received by the PNP Tanudan on November 30, 2022.

Police Captain Manuel Sabado, Tanudan Chief of Police, conveyed his gratitude and said it certainly will contribute much to faster response time to incidents as well as allow for accommodation of requests for assistance that could come at the same time.

“Tatta nga adda daytoy barbaru nga patrol car tayo, it will improve our response time ken talaga nga mayat, adu maitulong na. Kasi nu agigiddan iti activity, haan tayo ma-address-an amin dagiti request iti barangay, at least tattan adda diay maysa nga lugan,” he said.
